8 Disney Characters We Love

From kids to kids at heart, there’s no doubt that Disney holds a special place in the hearts of fans worldwide. There are so many memorable Disney characters to love, and if you’re lucky enough to visit one of the parks, it is an experience that stays with you for a lifetime!

Disneyland opened on July 17, 1955, and in honor of its special anniversary today, I asked a few fellow Disney fans around the office about who their favorite Disney character is and why. I loved hearing their answers, and hope you do, too!

Scroll down to see some of our favorites and share yours in the comments!

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse

I can’t pick just one! I love Mickey Mouse AND Minnie Mouse together because they are a classic duo that warm my heart. Plus, their coordinating outfits definitely show that they’re made for each other!

Cinderella

I love Cinderella because she not only shows that kindness and compassion are more valuable than selfishness and greed, but also the importance of a good pair of shoes.

Tinker Bell

I love Tinker Bell because she’s sassy, but deep down she’s as sweet as a cupcake. Her personality shines as bright as her glittering wings. Plus, she taught me that most problems can be solved with your imagination and a little bit of pixie dust.

Jack Skellington

Jack Skellington had an air about him that made me appreciate the darker side of children’s stories. He taught us that weird isn’t bad.

Eeyore

Eeyore taught me to appreciate the things that I have in life even if it doesn’t seem like much and that it was okay that I wasn’t just like everyone else. After all, “Weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them.”

Elsa

Elsa taught me that being different isn’t always a bad thing. Sometimes you just need to blow off some steam, “Let It Go” and be your weird self! Also she has an awesome snowman friend!

Dory

Like myself, Dory tends to be a bit forgetful. She never lets that drag her down; she’s an optimist that always trudges forward and brings out the best in everyone she meets. Despite her challenges, she always finds a way to keep on swimming.
