The Best Is Yet to Come!
Happy New Year, readers! It’s hard to believe it’s 2015 already – time really does fly when you’re having fun. And boy, was there a lot to enjoy in 2014! Before we move on to new adventures, I want to take a moment to briefly recap the amazing year we just had.
It was a banner year in sports for the West Coast – the Seattle Seahawks won their first Super Bowl title, while down in Cali, the Los Angeles Kings® clinched their second Stanley Cup® and the San Francisco Giants® brought home the World Series® title once more. Here at the Bradford Exchange, the real winners have always been the devoted fans who cheer on their team win or lose. In 2014, we were delighted to honor these loyal fans with our Precious Moments® sports fan figurines.
Disney’s “Frozen” was a smash hit in the box offices, bringing a flurry of excitement all its own. We were thrilled to be able to bring you one-of-a-kind Frozen collectibles, jewelry, music boxes, and more – treasures which we hoped helped make this holiday season extra enchanting for our Frozen-loving fans. Now if only we could get the melody of “Let It Go” out of our heads!
Over at The Ashton-Drake Galleries, the doll division of The Bradford Exchange, the winner of the first annual Baby Photo Contest inspired the irresistible Savana baby doll. You can see photos on The Ashton-Drake Galleries Facebook page, including one of the real-life Savana meeting her own baby doll! But of all the wonderful events of the last year, by far the #1 highlight for us was getting to know and grow our amazing community of friends, fans and followers (like YOU). Just this past December, we were overjoyed to reach 1,000,000 fans on Facebook. I can’t even begin to say how blown away we are by the love and support you’ve all shown us. Every comment and photo you share with us is a treasure, and we look forward to sharing even more “fan-tastic” moments in 2015.
There’s so much to look forward to in this fresh New Year. We have exciting debuts on the horizon, as well as contests and events.
